Sucré is a mini book on French pâtisserie. In these 20 page zine you will find recipes and techniques, stories and superstitions, maps and facts about some of the glorious pastries of France.

The zine is detailed with drawings created using a brush pen. The intention is to make every spread different, so every time you turn the page there is a little surprise. The colours are kept to a minimum to looks simple yet playful.

Shaheen Peerbhai is a chef and author of Paris Picnic Club. She is classically trained in France at Le Cordon Bleu, Paris and at Alain Ducasse Education. She has won several prestigious scholarships from the James Beard Foundation and The Culinary Trust that turned her cooking school dreams into a reality. Manolya Isik is an illustrator from The Netherlands, based in London. After graduating from Willem de Kooning Academie with a photography degree, she focused on illustration and animation. She works on freelance projects and regularly runs workshops. Find out more on manolyaisik.com
